My book review

Just last night I finished book called The False Princess by Elisi (A-lish) O'Neal.  Its about a girl who thought she was a princess, only to find that she isn't the real princess.  The real princess was taken to a convent to keep her safe from murder.  Right before the princess was born the King and Queen went to the oracle of the nameless god.  The prophecy they are told is that the princess will die around her 16 birthday.  And so the King and Queen switch her secretly for another baby at birth.  But a distant relative of the King and Queen is after the throne and puts her daughter in place of the real princess.  Its end is awesome.  If you want to find out why its awesome read it.  You'll love it.

The word for the Day

Allegory - a story that is written or told to represent an Idea or Belief.

So some books are a type of allegory. One example is The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe - where Aslan took Edmund`s place and died because Edmund had been a trader; so I think Aslan is a lot like Jesus, Cause Aslan came back to life.
Another example is The Door Within series. This time the one who dies is King Eliam, who is killed to save his people. He is killed by the once good Paragor (meaning - one of eternal darkness), who is then cast out, so he lives in Paragory (meaning - the dark gate) and he tries to take over many times.

Trixie Belden #3 The Gatehouse Mystery

This book is about Honey wheeler and Trixie Belden. They find a diamond in an old gatehouse. Trixie thinks some jewel thieves dropped the diamond at the gatehouse. Trixie and Honey investigate to see if there are any more jewels. They want to figure out how the jewel got to the gatehouse and who it belonged to.
