The Zoo

Monday (Aug 22), we went to the zoo. We were there all day, from 9:45Am to 2:45Pm.
First we looked for a Geocache. It was a type of multi-cache. But instead of having to find little containers with coordinates to the next cache inside, we had to find statues and/or plaques and then answer questions to find a number (example: How many letters are in the first word in the first line?). The number we came up with would then be 1 of 5 numbers to finish the coordinates for the final cache. It was really hard finding the final cache because there were lots of people around (called muggles in the Geocaching world), But we found it.
After finding the cache we went back to the car and lunch. Then we got to go see the animals. We saw Egyptian geese (very funny looking), Butterflies, Monkeys, Elephants (we got to see the new exhibit they had for them), A rattlesnake, Giraffes, Ostriches, a Snow leopard, and Zebras. Then we went home because everyone was getting tired.

A DAY AT THE ZOO

It was Monday. My whole family went to the zoo but not Daddy. He was at his Doctors appointment. At the zoo we saw lots of animals!! there where elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, lions, a jaguar, an eagle and a lot of birds. I saw their environment. There where flamingo and geese. It was super fun. The monkeys where black and white. I liked the eagle.
